In addition to our own organic lavender (we grow three species), Roman and German chamomile and peppermint oils, we stock a carefully selected range of the highest quality essential and carrier oils and base products for aromatherapy. Using our unique organic essential oils and herb extracts, we have created an exclusive range of therapeutic skin-care creams and personal care products. |
|
The shop is open seven days a week and stocks all of our products includiing our range of organic herb teas. Hand-made luxury vegetable soaps are very popular with visitors and we have a large variety of these in stock. Gift packs can be made to order. We have prepared massage blends for relaxation and for the relief of joint and muscle pain, or if you prefer, you can buy the base products to make your blends. |

![]() Analytical equipment in on farm laboratory |
Our laboratory is used to analyse the components of essential oils to ensure they are of the highest quality. This process is called gas-chromatography. Previously the industry has been characterised by an intuitive approach. The inspiration for Phytobotanica was to develop a structured, analytical and above all organic method of production |
| Visitors are welcome to walk round our fields and even help with the harvest during the summer months. The oils are extracted from the harvested plants by the process of steam distillation. If you visit on harvesting days, you can see the equipment illustrated in operation and enjoy the beautiful aroma as the oils are produced from the fresh crops. An experienced member of staff will be on hand to explain this procedure and answer any questions you may have about growing and oil extraction. |
