Annual Dinner 2005

In February 2005, Southport Beekeepers met at the Scarisbrick Hotel on Lord Street Southport for their Annual Dinner.

We took over the Cannel Suite and 25 members, family and friends sat down for a superb meal. We have been here for the past couple of years and they looked after us very well. The food was up to its usual standard and the company was excellent.

For the first time we had a very young guest. He is our very youngest junior member, Finnbar Mulroovey. It wasn’t his first meeting as he had attended a social, beeswax meeting in December when just a few days old. He hasn’t yet put on a bee suit and looked inside a hive but that will surely follow one day!
