On 17th February 2006, we met at the Scarisbrick Hotel, Southport for our annual dinner.

Twenty-three members arrived between 7:30pm and 8pm, and we enjoyed, as usual, an excellent meal.

After the meal, the members who passed their basic BBKA examination in summer 2005, and were present at the meeting, were awarded with their certificates: Barbara Roderick, Malcolm Roderick, Robert Baxter, Isabel Baxter, Martin Peeks, Julie Peeks, Sue Hornby and Ken Fleming. Ken was also awarded the Leonard Ross Memorial Trophy, for achieving the highest mark in the examination in the North West.
